WS #209 EX.SLOW HARDENER
Use with 105 Resin in extremely warm and/or humid conditions for general bonding and coating applications. Provides approx. twice the pot life and working time as 206 Hardener in normal 65F-70F temperatures (where extra assembly time may be required), and adequate pot life and working time in higher temperatures up to 110F. Forms a clear amber solid when completely cured. Note: 209 must be dispensed with 303 Special Ratio Mini-Pump to achieve proper 3:1 resin/hardener ratio. Size: .66 Pint Part # 00057

WS #420 ALUMINUM POWDER
420 Aluminum Powder provides limited protection from ultraviolet light in areas which will not be protected with other coatings. Can be used as a base for subsequent painting. 420 will increase the hardness and abrasion resistance of the coated surface and improve its moisture resistance. Cures to a metallic gray color. Add to mixed resin/hardener at the rate of 5% to 10% by volume (approximately 6 oz. per B group). Size: 1 lb. (454 g) Part # 00041

WS #423 GRAPH.POWDER-SM
Graphite Powder is a fine black powder that can be mixed with West System epoxy to produce a low-friction exterior coating with increased scuff resistance and durability. Epoxy/graphite is commonly used as a bearing surface, and as a coating on rudders and centreboards, or on the bottoms of racing craft that are dry sailed. It does not provide antifouling qualities. The epoxy/graphite mixture can also be used in teak deck construction to similate the look of traditional seams and to protect the epoxy from sunlight. Cures to a black colour. Size: 6 oz.(170 g) Part # 00080

WS #425 COPPER COMPOUND
Can be mixed with epoxy as a base coat for conventional bottom paint. When used with West System epoxy at approximately 80% by weight, the resulting hard surface increases moisture exclusion effectiveness and provides a backup antifouling properties. Ideal for coating anything that will be in direct contact with water. Can be used for in-mold or coating applications. Dark red/brown color. Size: 6 lb. (2.72 kg) Part # 00044

WS #501 WHITE PIGMENT
West System pigments are epoxy-based pastes which can be used to provide a base color for the final finishing system. They tend to highlight flaws and imperfections which otherwise might be overlooked. Pigments are added at the rate of 1 teaspoon pigment to 8 oz. of epoxy. More pigment will increase opaqueness but increases viscosity proportionally. Pigments can interfere with the epoxy's wetting qualities so they should be used only for the second or third coat. Size: 1 lb. Part # 00045

WS #503 GRAY PIGMENT-LG
West System pigments are epoxy-based pastes that can be used to tint the epoxy mixture to provide a base colour for the final finish system. The coloured surfaces also tend to highlight flaws and imperfections. Cured, pigmented epoxy surfaces are not a final finish surface, but require enamel or polyurethane paint systems to provide ultraviolet protection. Add to the mixed resin/hardener at a rate of approximately one teaspoon of pigment to 8 fl. oz. of epoxy (approximately 6 oz. of pigment per B group). More pigment will increase opaqueness and mixture viscosity. Size: 16 oz. Part # 00048
